I've been working in my university's box office over the summer, and while I don't have to dress smartly, I do like to make an effort. I got my paycheque the other day, and it just so happened to coincide with my finding out that Modcloth now ships to the uk (little bit late to the party I know). I couldn't resist, so I treated myself to a few pieces. One of those things was this midi skirt in this lovely terracotta colour. I thought it was perfect for autumn, so I decided it was the best thing to wear on this warm day in early September. It came with a little plaited belt which is a similar colour to my tan leather shoes, which are loveably scuffed and finally worn in after several years of wearing them.
While it's been nice working a lot and it's given me something to do over the summer, I'm very much looking forward to term starting back. I miss feeling like a student, and I only have a year of that left so I plan to savour it. Plus loads my friends will be coming back to Norwich, and I'll finally be moving into my house for a year, so there's plenty to get excited about.
